While yesterday’s Terrier Association Of Oregon show was not as large as the working group, it was one of the largest Terrier Groups seen in the last year with over 300 entries. It was the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Steele Your Heart, grabbing the first place. Marjorie Underwood’s remaining placements were the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Slyfox Sneaks a Peek, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH Ch Perrisblu Kennislain’s Chelsey, and the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlake Simply Sinful.
The Wire, Eira, finished 2011 as AKC’s Number One Terrier with a come from behind December, compiling 17 BIS & 51 Terrier Group Firsts. Congratulations to breeders/owners Tori Steele & Mary Ann Roma, and handler Gabriel Rangel.
Thank you for posting this memory of Eira. She is beautiful and amazing. It was fantastic what she a Gabriel did that year. They made such a great team. They were up against such big competition and in a short time accomplished so much. Love seeing her photo posted again! Torie
