The Greater Collin Kennel Club got the all breed action going in Dallas TX yesterday.  Rita Bell’s final featured three of our Top Ten Dogs All Breeds, Number One, the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, Number Seven, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria's Wildwood Silver Six Pence, and Number Ten, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy.  They were joined by the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Jodell Bogie Back to Texas of MNM, one of our newest DOGS2WATCH, the Norwich Terrier GCH CH Skyscot's Texas Hold 'Em, the Italian Greyhound, GCH CH Everafter Best Bet Yet, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey's Tails of Mystery.

Picking up his 66th BIS of the year was the Cocker, Beckham.  The Number One Dog n the country will take a commanding lead into next weekend’s big dance in Orlando, the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.

  2. First, let me say that I expect our Top Ten to remain our Top Ten. I look for the Peke, Malachy, & the Boxer, Scarlett, to stay in their currnet slots. The Poodle, Ally, & the Affenpinscher, Joey are separated by a few hundred points. The Whippet, Chanel, will remain secure at Number Six. We could easily see some movement in the Seven, Eight, & Nine positions. There are four dogs hoping to take the Bichon, Drummer's, Number Ten spot, but he has a 2000 point lead on them currently. I'll be publishing a chart showing how close the race is after this weekend. Next weekend's big counts could make a difference.
