Not since Santa Anna has Texas been so completely plundered. The Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, collected all the heavy silver in Dallas this weekend, sweeping all three all breed shows.

Today the country’s Number One Dog All Breeds picked up his 68th BIS of the year from judge Karen Wilson at the Trinity Valley Kennel Club show.  The six who tried to stop this canine version of a steam roller were the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Jodell Bogie Back to Texas of MNM, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall I Dream of Style,  the Norwich Terrier GCH CH Skyscot's Texas Hold 'Em, the Italian Greyhound, GCH CH Everafter Best Bet Yet, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey's Tails of Mystery.

Beckham’s 2011 point total is the highest ever by a Black Cocker and the third highest ever by a Sporting Dog.   Yes, the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship in Orlando next weekend is going to be a barn burner.
