We are back from our morning wedding vendor interviews and are ready to restart our Monday Mop Up.  We go out in the Valley in Southern California to the town of Perris where the Kennel Club of Riverside hosted two shows this weekend.

On Saturday Janice McClary greeted the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Otein Cap'n Jack Sparrow, the Ibizan Hound, GCH CH Harehill's Ace In The Hole, the Boxer, GCH CH Telstar's All That Glitters At Cinnabon, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Steele Your Heart, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. GCH CH Cottfordcourt Stanley Cup, the Bulldog, GCH CH Yeager's Paxton, Peer Of Camelot, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Pennant, to her final.

She chose the Corgi, Pennant, as the day one Best.  It’s the second this year for Pennant, who has only been shown sparingly.

On Sunday the Pomeranian, GCH CH Expression It Is What It Is, and the Xoloitzcuintli, GCH CH Shida Mightly Joe Young, would join Pennant and the remaining four Saturday finalists in Gloria Kerr’s BIS ring.  Her BIS was the Wire Fox, Eira.  Eira and handler Gabriel Rangel have had a stellar summer with ten of her BIS coming in the last ten weeks.   This BIS moves her in right behind the Number One Terrier in all breed points.
