Everything comes to he who waits and we have been waiting for a while for these results from Springfield IL.

The big news is the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder, went home with the hat trick, three of the four big rosettes offered this past weekend.  At Friday’s Mattoon Kennel Club showed Elvis impressed Paula Hartinger more than the Brittany, GCH CH Star Flight Jumpin Jack Flash RN OAJ OA, the Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Soletrader Bjorn Borg, the Bullmastiff, GCH CH Newcastle's Picturesque Picasso, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Waybrooke Broxden Turning Tanner, the Blenheim & Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH Loujon Backroads To Paris, or the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset's Satisfaction, did.

Saturday Elvis and breeder/owner/handler Jere Marder was Elliott Weiss’ pick over the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Summits Emery Its In The Bag, the Saluki, GCH CH Sandstorm Blue Nile Bubbles Of Jatara, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Cambria’s Must Be Fate, the above named Smooth Fox, the Long Coat Chihuahua GCH CH Kokura Yama JP Emiro, and the aforementioned Poodle.

Sunday W Everett Dean Jr chose Elvis and not the previously named Golden, PBGV, or Standard Poodle, nor the Newfoundland, CH Windhaven's Here's A Story, Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlake Simply Sinful, or Toy Fox Terrier, CH Prairie Farm Angel Eyes.

The big weekend leaves Elvis as the Number Four Herding dog with eight all breed Bests and a very impressive 70 Herding Group top prizes.

However, Monday,  at the ICKC day two show Elvis would watch  the Standard Poodle, London,  prevail in his fourth final appearance of the set.  Rounding out Kathleen Grosso’s final were the English Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Majestic’s Keeping the drama, the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgate’s As You Like It, the Rottweiler Precious Gems Clark Kent RE, the Smooth Fox making his third appearance, and the Pomeranian, CH Char’s Secret Obsession.

London & handler Ann Rairigh are currently sitting in the Number Nine Dog All Breeds spot and are likely to maintain a Top Ten presence for the rest of the year with 24 BIS & 69 Non-Sporting Group First.
