With over 2500 dogs entered, today’s Trenton Kennel Club’s BIS was the weekend’s big prize.  The seven hopefuls who gathered for Barbara Dempsey Alderman were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Thaon’s Mowgli, the Giant Schnauzer, CH Kenro's Stealing Time, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, the Standard Poodle, GCH CCH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins.

Taking home the heavy silver was the Affenpinscher, Joey.  The win, Joey’s seventh this year, gives us a four dog race for the Number Two spot.  There is still one more show to go in New Jersey tomorrow and we already have three of the Top Five there and the other two within driving distance.  Could be a real interesting Monday.
