Here on Wednesday morning we are still gathering results from this past weekend.  We hear that the Giant Schnauzer, CH Skansen’s Holy Knight, won both top prizes at Saturday & Sunday’s Greater Panama City Dog Fanciers Association     shows in Marianna FL.

On Saturday Knight and handler Adriano Rocha were accompanied in Ruth Prehn’s final by the Gordon Setter, GCH CH Black Diamond‘s Angel Dust, the Basset Hound, GCH CH Birnam’s sweet Tea, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Carywyre High Voltage, the Italian Greyhound, GCH CH Bo-Bett’s Open Button, the Lhasa Apso, CH Xerlane’s Kid Rock, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Sunburst one Cool Dude.

On Sunday Arlene Benko chose Knight over the Weimaraner, GCH CH Moonstone‘s Earth Angel, the Saluki, CH Baha Persian of Interest Naj, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, GCH CH Prada Classic Aran Isle at Donellas, the above name IG, the Bulldog, CH Lakeshore‘s Can‘t keep a Good Man Down, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Equinox Ad Astra.

This handsome guy won a four point major at just ten months of age, a remarkable accomplishment for a large breed.  Now at just 20 months of age he has his first two Working Groups and his first two BIS.  He will just get better.  Congratulations to Adriano, breeder, Sylvia Hammastom, and owner Cornelia King.
