SIOUX VALLEY KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Dawin Avion Wouldn’t You Know

Once again we have several hangovers from the weekend…no, no,  not the alcohol induced kind, the we have no AKC rep kind.  From Le Mars IA, we have results of this past weekend’s Sioux Valley Kennel Club’s two shows.  Saturday Barbara Dempsey Alderman chose the beautiful Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Avion Wouldn’t You Know, as her BIS.  She might have chosen the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Kan-Point’s Leading the Chase, the Bloodhound, CH Quiet Creek’s Windfall, the Siberian Husky, CH Tovik’s Western Design, the Parson Russell Terrier, GCH CH Posey Canyon No Brainer!, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Ista’s Hurricain Chaser, or the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Frontier’s License to Carry at Margaux, but she didn’t.

We saw this guy back in March in Louisville and were very impressed.  It’s the first all breed BIS for BISS winning Woody, but we assure you there will be many more.  Congratulations to breeder Yvonne Hagman, owner Linda Campbell, and handler Sarah Riedl.

GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare

Sunday, Janis Mercer, finished the set with Woody, the above named Bloodhound, Siberian, & Parson, the Golden Retriever, CH Glengowan’s Authentic Playboy, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Xtc’s What Can Brown Do for You?.  She chose the MinPin, Classie as her BIS.  Classie and owner/handler Armando Angelbello are fresh from picking up the BISS at the 2011 Miniature Pinscher Club of America National Specialty on Friday.  Sunday win brings their 2011 BIS total to four.

  1. The Bloodhound was actually GCH Quiet Creek's Windfall.
