Pine Point Lighthouse Scarborough Maine

This coming week will offer lots of shows in lots of places.  We have three & four day clusters aplenty. In New England the Vacationland Dog Club and the York County Kennel Club Of Maine will be in Scarborough ME for four days starting Thursday.  New Yorkers will head out to Long Island on Friday for two days with the Ladies' Kennel Association Of America in Oyster Bay, followed by Sunday with the Long Island Kennel Club in Bethpage.  Upstate residents will be In Alexander NY for a traditional two day weekend with the Wyoming Valley kennel Club.

Great Lakes residents will have several options this week with four days in Marietta OH  with the Greater Clarksburg WV Kennel Club & the Blennerhassett Kennel Club starting Thursday, and two day stops in Corunna MI with the Genesee County Kennel Club, in Greentown IN with the Kokomo Kennel Club, & in Oshkosh WI with the Oshkosh Kennel Club & the Winnegamie Dog Club.

In the Mid Atlantic it’s the Mattaponi Kennel Club’s two shows in Manassas VA outside of  the Nation’s Capital or head east to Gray TN where the Greater Kingsport Kennel Club will be for two days.  Here in the Mid-South the Clarksville Kennel Club or Jackson Tennessee Dog Fanciers Association  are hosting four days in Jackson TN, just 80 miles east of  Memphis.

We have just one site for exhibitors in the Great Plains, the Sunflower Kennel Club Of Olathe, Kansas in Gardner KS.  However,  we have dog shows in two locations in the Mountain Time Zone this week.  Try the Durango Kennel Club’s trio in Cortez CO ( that’s in the four corners area of Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, & Arizona) or the Mount Ogden Kennel Club’s twofer in Logan UT, 100 miles north of Salt Lake City.

West Coast fanciers will be burning up I-5 between Lynden WA  where the Mt Baker Kennel Club has two shows, Vallejo CA, in the San Francisco Bay Area, with the Coyote Hills Kennel Club, and Valley Center CA, just north of San Diego.

We encourage you to get out and see the purebred dogs of AKC this week.  We will be entered all four days in Jackson TN.  Do stop by the Cairn ring & say hello.
