MOUNT OGDEN KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Silveroaks First & Foremost

We now have results from the Mount Ogden Kennel Club’s pair of shows this weekend in Logan UT.  Saturday closed with Betty Regina Leininger assessing the Welsh Springer Spaniel, CH Royaile Rocksprings Dafydd, the Saluki, CH Sandara‘s Here Comes the Sun, the Mastiff, CH GCH Britestar’s Dueling Desperado CGC TDI TT, the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Dry Dock Bobby J Bayou, the Maltese, GCH CH Rhapsody’s Regarding Henry, the American Eskimo Dog, GCH CH Silveroaks First & Foremost, and the Belgian Malinois, Moonquests Much To Do.

Her BIS was the American Eskimo Dog, Primo.  It’s the second all breed Best this year, the only of his breed to win a Non-Sporting Group this year.

The closed the set with Steven Gladstone considering the Golden Retriever, CH Happy Hour’s An A-Phare to Remember, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH Tji-Wara’s Distant Drums, the Newfoundland, GCH CH BigDogFarm Baby Huey, the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Rhapsody’s Oohs and Aahs, the above named Maltese, the Keeshonden, CH Windrift’s Dancing on the River, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Clarkens Castaway.

His choice for Best In Show was the two year old Schnauzer.  We believe it to be the first BIS for the Utah bred and owned dog.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Jane Nielsen and co-breeder Carla J Nickerson.
