GCH CH Belcanto Flags A’Flyn

We now have results from this weekend’s Durango Kennel Club’s three shows in Cortez CO.  We knew the shows were remote,  We didn’t know we would have to wait on the Pony Express for a report.

The first final, on Friday, had Houston Clark choosing the Best of the English Springer Spaniel, CH Designer’s He’s Bonafide, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Belcanto Flags A’Flyn, the Boxer, GCH CH R and G’s Mystical Dancer, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Belgar’s Desert Sand, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Tamrin’s Top Banana, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Highwood’s Big Shot, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey’s Tails of Mystery.  Day one went to the Beagle, Corbin.  It’s his third of the year and his second this month.

GCH CH Tamrin’s Top Banana

Friday’s seven finalists would all get another shot at BIS on Saturday with Robert Stein.   He would recognize the Affenpinscher, Topper.  It was his third BIS this year and his 20th Toy Group First.

GCH CH Highwood’s Big Shot

On Sunday two new finalists, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, & the Australian Shepherd, CH Paradigm’s  Baylandon Broadway, would join the five from Friday & Sunday in Stephen Hubbell’s BIS ring.  It was the Frenchie, Willie, adding another BIS to his resume.

It was the first BIS this year for Willie and handler Alvin (Beep) Lee.  Congratulations to Beep, breeder/owner Alexandra Vorbeck, co-breeder Perry Payson, .
