Up in Eau Claire WI, the Indianhead Kennel Club got their two show weekend underway with Betty Anne Stenmark choosing a BIS on day one.  Her options were the German Shorthaired Pointer, CH Robin Crest Spectacular Bid JH, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Paradigm Aariel's Entourage RA CD, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall I Dream of Style, the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlake  Simpy Sinful, the Long Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH  Kokura Yama JP Emirio, the Bulldog, GCH CH Evergreen's Miss Congeniality, and the Shetland Sheepdog, Blue Heavens Forget Me Not.

Her Best was the Border Terrier, Maya.  It’s the first BIS for Maya and breeder/owner/handler Karen E Fitzpatrick and her lucky 13th Terrier Group First this year.  Congratulations to Karen, co-breeder Tracy VanNiel, and fellow owners David Fitzpatrick DVM, Joyce Wilkinson, & Kiki Courtelis.

  1. How awesome to see the JE at the end of the Best In Show winner's name! Congratulations, from the breeder of a Best In Show winning Smooth Fox Terrier also with a Junior Earthdog title. A female too, I might add.

  2. The border terrier that went BIS was actually GCh Meadowlake Simply Sinful - Maya. ZZ was also there, though.

  3. The Best in Show winner pictured is not the winner of Best in Show. The Best in Show winner is Gr. Ch Meadowlake's Simply Sinful owned by Kiki Courtelis, Karen Fitzpatrick, Joyce Wilkinson and David Fitzpatrick. The handler of Maya, who won her first Best is Karen Fitzpatrick.
