VALDOSTA KENNEL CLUB DAY ONE

GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy

The Valdosta Kennel Club got things rolling today and ended with what would be one of the year’s toughest finals.  Michael Dougherty had three of the Top Five Dogs All Breeds, four of the Top Ten, and the Number Twelve Dog as well.  They were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgate’s AS You Like It, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vid Vici, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH Equinox As Astra.

He chose the Number Two Dog in the US, the Peke, Malachy.  Malachy has steadily marched up the rankings since February and is now in a position to challenge the front runner.  Log this as Malachy’s tenth BIS this year.  This is obviously going to be a very interesting weekend.
