SHENANDOAH VALLEY KENNEL CLUB

CH Lafford Fly Me Too Farleysbane

It’s Monday Morning Mop Up time and do we have some interesting results for you.  We did not hear much from the Mid Atlantic  clubs over the weekend.  We don’t know if it was the nasty weather or just an unwillingness to share, but these results were certainly worth waiting for.

The Papillion, CH Lafford Fly Me Too Farleysbane, posted BACK2BACK BIS at the Shenandoah Valley Kennel Club’s two shows in Harrisonburg VA.  Joining Dave in Christine E. Calcinari’s final on Saturday were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Northwoods Send Money Honey, the American Foxhound, CH Kiarry's Foolish Pride, the Rottweiler, GCH CH D'Oro Solido's Feliciano Uno, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Talydales Friend Of The Force, the Lhasa Apso, GCH CH Ta Sen James Bond,  and the Briard, CH NE Orageux's Al Capone

Saturday, Peter Green considered the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Signature Of Telltale, the Basenji, GCH CH Revielle Push Button, the Great Pyrenees, GCH CH Rivergroves Coco Mademoiselle , the above named Lakeland, the Tibetan Spaniel, CH Ambrier’s Tidbroke’s Beamer Balll, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Karizma’s Ike Of Edale, before choosing Dave as his Best.

These were the first two AKC Bests for Dave, who hails from the UK where he was the Number One Papillon last year.  Don’t you love how the dog game has become a global love affair?  Congratulations to breeder Carol Lees, owners Elyse Vandermolen & Sharon Newcomb, and handler Erika Lanasa.
