We arrived too late in Louisville KY tonight to witness  Edd Bivin’s final at the day one show of the Louisville Kennel Club, but we assure you that the seven who rose to the top of the 3600 entered are among the best anywhere in the world.  They were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Tender is The Night, the Whippet, GCH Sporting Field’s Bahama Sands, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the American Staffordshire Terrier, CH Castle Rock's Sbigstaff Mad About You, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malchy, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch.

Today’s BIS was the Boxer, Scarlett.  Scarlett was 2010’s Number One Working Dog and Number Four Dog All Breeds and appears on track to have another great year.  Scarlett and handler Diego Fernando Garcia have collected three big BIS in the last two weeks.  This one will put them back in the Top Five Dogs All breeds, but then it is only Friday.

We will be in the show hall tomorrow to see all these beautiful dogs and more.  We will be all over the hall during the day, but we know we will be at the Cairn ring for judging.  Stop by and say hello.
