EVANSVILLE KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy

Today’s Evansville Kennel Club show may be the biggest show we see all year with entries that hovered around the 4000 mark.  We spent eleven hours there today taking the opportunity to see up close the dogs we write about every weekend.    We tip our hats to the show management who have produced one of the most exhibitor friendly shows we have been to in a while.  There were no long lines unloading, plenty of space for everyone, and vendors for the most adventurous shoppers (Our wife bought a pair of shoes…at a dog show).  A special shout out to Patt & Ray Kolesar and all the other Griff and Pug exhibitors for making us feel so welcome.

Stephen Hurt’s final seven would stand out at any marquee show anywhere.  They were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Silhouette’s LifeInTheFastLane, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Fields Bahama Sands, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, The Wire Fox Terrier,  CH Steele Your Heart, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Bandheim’s Captain Crunch.

His BIS was the Peke, Malachy.  Last week we predicted that 2010’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, would be back in the Top Ten soon.  Well, today’s BIS will put Malachy all the way up into the Number Four spot.
