CH Shortales N Cahoots W Irondale JH

They closed the four days in Hanford CA with the second iteration of the Kings Kennel Club of California.  Lining up for Robert Caswell was the German Shorthair Pointer, CH Shortales N Cahoots W Irondale JH, the Black and Tan Coonhound, GCH CH Silveridge Showtyme At Windbourne, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Catanya's Latin Lover, the Welsh Terrier, CH Bruhill’s First Lady, the Havanese, CH Askin Steppin’ To The Bad Side, the Bulldog, GCH CH Globe And Anchor Sgt Iron Mike, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Segni at Coventry.

His BIS was the GSP, Sting. This is the first BIS for the four year old. Congratulations to breeders Leita Estes & Morgan Beck, owners Leita Estes & Dr Timothy Stinchcombe, and handler Valerie Nunes-Atkinson.

  1. Watching Valerie Nunes-Atkinson show a dog is watching someone who loves the breed sell the dog to the crowd. She is one of the most exciting handlers to watch. Poetry in motion! She doesn't stop showing till the ribbon is handed out. A wonderful GSP to boot! Congrats to the whole team.

  2. One of the most exciting shows was one year in Long Beach a Am Staff specialty with about 25 dogs and Valerie showed a 10 year old who was retiring. She won with that dog and everyone was in tears, even the owner who was showing another dog. I was exhausted watching her not let up till it was over. This lady knows how to bring out the best in anything with 4 legs.
