NORTHERN NECK KC OF VA

GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari

Exhibitors braved icy roads and delayed airlines to get to this week’s first show, the Northern Neck Kennel Club Of Virginia in Fredericksburg VA.   For some reason, know only to the NNKCV, the superintendent has been forbidden to share the catalog, but thanks to a generous reader we have learned this much.  Peggy Dillard Carr had the first final of five to be held at this location this week.  Among her choices were the Black Cocker, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction,  the Whippet, GCH CH Starline Chanel, the Great Dane, GCH CH Lobato's JitterBug Man, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Lomondview Clementina, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, the Miniature Poodle, CH Surrey Sugar Baby, and a German Shepherd Dog from the Open Dog class, Karizma's Ike of Edale.

Her BIS was the Affenpinscher, Joe.  Joe is fresh from a big weekend in Palm Springs CA, today’s win is his second all breed BIS of the year and puts him ahead of the pack in the early season.  The Fredericksburg Funfest continues through Sunday.  Hopefully, with the help of our readers we will continue to bring you results as they happen.

  1. Thanks, Billy! Your blog is especially welcome since NNKC has declined to post the catalog/results on-line.

  2. The GSD was Open Dog Karizma's Ike of Edale, owned by Sharon and Stuart Birch and handled by Kent Boyles

  3. I think it is crazy they won't post the catalog. I was told it is because the club thinks they will sell more catalogs.

I knew you would come through for us and give us the results

  4. Its the digital age. Save a tree and give exhibitors the option to save a digital copy of the catalog. It will save money for the clubs too!

  5. And they want to know why entries are down????? Charge more for the entry and give us less...at least give us the courtesy of not making a wasted trip to the show only to find that the previous entries during the week have been absent...what the heck...gas is only $3.00+ a gallon! They already have our entry fee so what are they afraid of...not selling catalogs that most people are not buying anyway with the weak economy?? Talk about being exhibitor unfriendly...

  6. x2 what Anonymous @ 8:51 PM said, though I daresay "exhibitor unfriendly" may be a bit of an understatement!

  7. I my opinion, people STILL won't buy a catalog because it will be on-line after the cluster weekend is over. I know I won't.

  8. X3. This person really hit the nail on the head about absentee dogs and the gas prices. It would be nice to know if the competition was there in the days prior to the weekend, so one could make a decision on making the costly trip.
