DFA OF OREGON

CH Eyjahunda Thorarinn

They topped 2500 entries at today’s Dog Fanciers Association of Oregon show.  The seven that survived to make it to Robert Hutton’s final were the Clumber Spaniel, CH Clussexx Last Lion, the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgate’s As You Like It, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Karnovanda's Tenzing, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Fortuna De Aiedkii's, yesterday’s BIS winner, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Powerpom’s High Performance, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Icelandic Sheepdog, CH Eyjahunda Thorarinn.

Taking home the biggest prize of the day was the Icelandic Sheepdog, Thorrii.  Thorrii becomes the first of his breed to win an AKC all breed BIS, doing so in spectacular fashion at one of dogdom’s marquee shows over formidable competition.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Donna McDermott & Terry Warnock, and handler Tammie Wilcox.
