GCH CH Starline’s Chanel
Our count down to the New Year continued today in San Mateo CA with the Santa Cruz Kennel Club’s show. It was judge Robert Frost’s turn to gather the seven best of the day. They were the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Robin Crest Great Expectations, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Aviator’s Luck Be A Lady, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Trozian Onyx At Torum, yesterday’s BIS, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Bulldog, GCH CH Globe And Anchor Sgt Iron Mike, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Kaleef's Lasting Impression.
His BIS was the Whippet, Chanel. Chanel and handler Lori Wilson have had a habit of winning big shows since they hit the scene at Palm Springs last January. Chanel and Lori have locked down the Number One Hound title for the year and are currently the Number Seven Dog All Breeds. Who will be the Number One Dog All Breeds? That is still up for grabs wuth only two shows to go. Check with us tomorrow to see who sits where.

Lori and Cha Cha,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to a beautiful team on a very impressive win!!
DeAnn
Oh, happy, happy! She's a beautiful girl.
ReplyDeletePatty H
Go Peke!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a handsome Kerry with beautiful terrier movement!
ReplyDeleteAnd super well presented by a true terrier handler.
Good job Bill as always .
GO TEAM DODGER!! BEST OF LUCK Thursday!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the Whippet, she's lovely. This week in California is nail-biting time for some. The suspense is drawing a crowd here on DSP!
ReplyDeleteI'll be rooting for David and his Malachy!!! Got to love a come-from-behind finish at the wire!
Happy New Year, all!!! Safe travels home.
David has comported himself with grace & style all year long. No matter how the raw numbers shake out at the end, he's a class act. And Malachi is so stunning it almost makes me reconsider my anti-Peke bias!
ReplyDeleteI find it sad that there are so many posts about "the peke" and "the David" when this is a post about Chanel and Lori's accomplishment. Congratulations Lori and Chanel--Chanel is a beautiful whippet. Lori is a class act, too. We get it, David is a "class act"--enough already.
ReplyDeleteDodger and Amy, and all the others in the top 10 are class acts or else they wouldn't be there!!!
ReplyDeleteThis place says no trolls. I think the trolls are still here. They just have gotten sneaky.
ReplyDeleteYes Chanel is pretty. Emily (the #3 dog) isn't showing this week. Her owners would proibably love more BIS's on her. She's more than capable.
ReplyDeleteNobody is taking it personal that many people only care about two dogs on this cluster. This is why we're glued to the blog.
Thank you to Billy for giving us the blog.
Chanel and Lori, beautiful in the ring! LOVE this photo by Carol Beuchat, she does gorgeous work!
