LOS ENCINOS KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy

It’s day two of our California Countdown to the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship and the hosting Los Encinos Kennel Club asked Lawrence Stanbridge to choose a BIS from the superlative seven of the Irish Setter, GCH CH Shadagee Caught Red Handed, the Norwegian Elkhound, GCH CH Vin-Melca's Voyager, the Boxer, GCH CH Duba Dae‘s Who‘s Your Daddy, the Irish Terrier, GCH CH Fleet St Fenway Fan, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Vaje's Miss Jayne Hathaway, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins.

His Best In Show was the Peke, Malachy.  It’s the 58th BIS for Malachy and owner/handler David Fitzpatrick and gives them what appears to be an insurmountable lead over the field.  However, it  IS the season for miracles.

  1. Nice victory! Glad to see most of the top dogs out in Long Beach, honest competition with each other. Let the chips (and points) fall where they may!

  3. Superb win, amongst admirable competition, for a wonderful specimen of the Breed. Goes to show, no need for miracles when the Best comes in a small, but powerful, package!
    Congratulations, Team Malachy!

  5. To watch the BIS ring was very exciting. Congrats to David and Malachy! He could have chosen any of the final seven and they would have been deserving of the BIS. The best part about the night was watching Pat Trotter trucking around that ring with her beautiful dog. I am half her age and I'm sure I couldn't have done it with the energy and class that she did. Congrats to all 7 group winners!
