SHOW DOGS STOLEN!

GCH CH Dream Hi's I Got My Game On

An unfortunate Bella Vista CA exhibitor has had her van stolen with four dogs inside from the Motel 6 in Bell Flower CA near Long Beach.  Lori Rickard’s White Chevvrolet cargo van, California License 8D50252, was stolen from the parking lot of the motel  early this morning.  The van, which has a black cargo box on the back and three breed stickers (Akita, Brittany, & Parson Russell Terrier) on the rear window, contained four dogs, two Akitas and two Pembroke Welsh Corgis.  One of the Akitas is GCH CH Dream Hi's I Got My Game On, who answers to the name Trace. If you see this van please contact the Bell Flower police at the Lakewood Station, (562) 623-3500.

Update  12/1/10 3:50PM The Akitas have been recovered from a local shelter, but the Corgis are still missing.

  6. I am disgusted that this has happened to someone that has had the best intentions for their animals. It's unfortunate that they weren't told, as out of towners, that Bellflower is a seedy area, as some part of Long Beach is too and they should be cautious about leaving anything in a van. I continue to pray that there will be something positive about their Corgis in the next day.

  9. I'm so relieved that they have gotten all their dogs back. The worst race is the human race once again. What they do just to create havoc makes being with animals all the more real.
