It’s Monday Morning Mop Up time.  Our top ranked dogs were all over the US these past few days.  If you have not read us for the last five days you have missed a lot of excitement.

We did give you a glimpse at the fun in northwest Alabama where there were four shows in the town of Priceville.  Check our archives for Thursday’s and Friday’s results.  On Saturday Gloria Geringer was in the final ring for the Huntsville Kennel Club.  Her finalists were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Touchstone's O Solo Mio, the Saluki, GCH CH Carma's Indian Summer, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Onan's Promises Promises, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Solebay Chipothgoldblok, the Papillion, Flashpoint's Celebration, the Bichon Frise, CH Vogelflight's Taywyn Basil, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Kridler's Nutmeg V Signature.  Her Best was the four year old Saluki.  It’s his second this year.

Sunday the HKC did it again, this time with Carol Beattie doing the final.  She saw one of Saturday’s finalists, the Black Cocker.  Rounding out the final were the Redbone Coonhound, GCH CWSG Sidearm Jungle King, the Rottweiler, CH Von Hoffman's Antsy Prance, the Colored Bull Terrier, CH Old England's Coco Chanel, the Japanese Chin, CH Teabear's Loves Me Loves Me Knot, the Dalmatian, .Lakeshore's Tail Of Two Cities, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Mysharas Dream Girl.  Best went to the Cocker, Solo.  It’s the third BIS this year for the three year old and, alas, we still have no photo.

  1. That's a piece of bait, suspended in mid-air, that's got him so fired up.
