CATCHING UP IN CONNECTICUT

CH Kepley’s Showbiz Razzle Dazzle

We have lots of leftovers from yesterday to start with today.  First from Shelton CT We hear that the Bulldog, CH Kepley’s Showbiz Razzle Dazzle, was Elliott Weiss’ BIS at Friday’s Newton Kennel Club show.   That’s Uli’s 37th career BIS, one shy of the record for Bulldog bitches.

CH Kimro’s Soldier Boy

Saturday’s Ox Ridge Kennel Club show had Robert Sharp choosing from the following seven:  From the Open Dog class, the Pointer, Seasyde As Good As Gold, the 13” Beagle, CH Langrigg Star Of The Stage, the Alaskan Malamute, CH Snocreek Longwinter’s Legacy, the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlake Overnight Celebrity, the Miniature Pinscher, CH Kimro’s Soldier Boy, the Standard Poodle, CH Hillwood Dassin Shut Up And Dance, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins.   His BIS was the MinPin, Major.  It’s the second this year for Major and breeder/owner/handler Kimberly A Pastella-Calvacca.  Major was bred by Kim, Anthony Calvacca, Robin Greenslade & Howard Schwell. Our congratulations to them all.

The fun continues today in Goshen CT with the Northwestern Connecticut Dog Club.

  1. BIS participants at Goshen. The beardie Roy was BIS with Cliff Steele as handler, also in the BIS ring, Fynn the Irish Terrier, the same Min Pin, the same Pointer, A Vizla, Giant Schaunzer, and I think a Shiba Inu. Judge was Desi Murphy. I hope I remembered all.
