GIG HARBOR KC & A DOG2WATCH

GCH CH Alpine’s Highwayman

Up in Shelton WA the Gig Harbor Kennel Club did the two shows on Saturday and Sunday.  We did tell you all about the day one happenings.  Sunday was an encore performance for Ed Thomason’s home bred American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine’s Highwayman, as he picked up the BACK2BACK BIS.  Rounding out David Kirkland’s final were the Irish Water Spaniel, CH Poole's Ide Got Water, the Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen, CH Soletrader Donald Duck, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Alpenspirit Who's On First, the Long Coat Chihuahua, CH Dragon Lair Wildrose Mojo Risin, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Puli, GCH CH Lajosmegyi Singin' In The Rain.  Ed’s had Jelly out for less than four months and has nine Group Ones and two BIS on him.  It’s not often we get to say it twice in the same day, but this is a DOG2WATCH.

  1. I absolutely agree that Jelly is a Dog2Watch! He is a fabulous example of the breed, has wonderful temperament and is extremely well-handled. I'd take him home in a heartbeat! Congrats to Ed, Karen & Jelly!

  2. My bad. I should have congratulated Dan, Lois & Zane, as well...and Ed's assistant, Aaron...they have all had a hand in this young dog's success.
