NEW JERSEY RESULTS

CH GreenGates The Boss At Beaubriar RN

This past dog show week was one of the busiest in our memory.  I we are somewhat redundant in today’s coverage, it is because we want to be sure we don’t leave out one exciting detail.  We will start in Freehold NJ where we had four all breed shows.  You may recall that we told you that Helen Lee James chose the Smooth Fox Terrier, Foxlorr Double Dare, as her Best In Show.  Joining Phoebe in that final were the Flat Coat Retriever, CH  Quillquest Etched In StoneOA AXJ JH RN, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Tucker Ridge Dugga Boy, the Neapolitan Mastiff, CH Beefcake Bodacious Of Majestic, the Miniature Pinscher, CH Kimro's Soldier Boy, the Schipperke, CH DeLamer Sea Ya At The Top, and the Rough Collie, CH Kelso's Moon Dancin HSAS.

We did give you a complete report on Saturday’s Monmouth County Kennel Club show.  Sunday, it was the Plainfield Kennel Club with Joe Tacker in the final ring.  He had his pick of the Irish Setter, CH GreenGates The Boss At Beaubriar RN, the above named Rhodesian, the Boxer, CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Lakeland Terrier, CH Thor-Kourt Tweetbt Tyrakeag, the Pug, CH Dillpepah's Magic Moment, the previously mentioned Schipperke, and the Puli, CH Mi Tonka Frequent Flyer.   His Best was the two year old Schipperke, Spike.  We believe this is his first BIS.  Congratulations to breeder Krista Nuovo and owners Rose Ellen Stone, Jo Ann Giovinetti & Krista Nuovo.

They closed it with Richard Beauchamp in for the Union County Kennel Club.  His final included the aforementioned Irish Setter, Boxer, Smooth Fox, & MinPin, the Pharaoh Hound, DC Halllam's Busiris Ra Qena MC LCX, the Keeshond, CH Darkenwald Cavalier O'Southcar, and the Bearded Collie, CH Friendship's Noblest Aspect.  Best went to the Irish Setter, Bruschi, who also won Saturday’s show, his first two BIS of the year.

Now that we are starting to descend from cloud 109, I would like to thank Spike’s (DeLamer Sea Ya at the Top) handlers, Dennis and Carol Collins for their expert care and handling of our boy and of course none of this would be possible without the dedication and knowledge of his breeder/handler, Krista Nuovo, we will be forever grateful.

A slight correction. Bruschi took BIS on both Saturday and Monday.

  7. Rick, congratulations on the two BIS. If you reread the posts, you will find that I did credit Bruschi with the two wins, on two separate occasions.
