MYSTERY SMOOTH BIS IN ST PETER MN

They’re done with their weekend in St Peter MN.  Yesterday’s Key City Kennel Club’s BIS was the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH J'Cobe Broxden The Headline.  He was accompanied in Stephen Hubbell’s final by Saturday’s BIS winner, the Vizsla, CH Renaissance Girls Gone Wild, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Tji-Wara's Distant Drums, the Rottweiler, CH Bismark's Anticipation CD RE, the Shih Tzu, CH Olive's Grove Odd Thomas , the French Bulldog, CH Evergreen's Lavish Look, and the Canaan Dog, CH Mad River Cool Breeze Blowing.    We don’t know a whole lot about this dog other that he is owned by Jana Rodes & Amy Booth.  Watch for an update soon.

Updated 5/31/10 @ 1:17 PM CDT. We have learned that this 22 month old dog is a half brother to the AKC’s current Number One Dog All Breeds, CH J’Cobe Kemosabe Vigilante Justice.  He was bred by William R Dalling, Stacy Turner & Amy & Phil Booth and is owned by Jana Rodes & Amy Booth.  Congratulations to them all.  We will continue to search for a photo.

  1. Ch. J'Cobe Broxden The Headline, also known as Hayden, is shown by Doug and Mandy Carlson. This was his first weekend out as a special after finishing with multiple specialty wins. What a way to start, two group ones and a BEST IN SHOW!!

  2. Hayden is out of the same bitch as Dodger. He is also a half brother of the two lovely smooth bitches that have been winning shows for some time now. They are all by Ken Hughes' dog, Lance.

Barbie was bred back to Rugby, Dodger's sire, and we have some very nice puppies on the ground that will start showing this fall. We are very pleased for Hayden and his two brothers, who both left the US. Probably more than you wanted to know but now the mystery is gone.
