Helen Lee James had the judge’s book at the second of the Silver Bay Kennel Club Of San Diego’s two shows in Del Mar CA this weekend. Her finalists were the Weimaraner, CH Silhouette’s LifeInTheFastLane, Saturday’s BIS winner, the Whippet, CH Starline’s Chanel, the Boxer, R and G’s Mystic Dancer, the Parson Russell Terrier, CH Stonebrook’s Academy Award, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Maibee Perfect Pitch, the Standard Poodle, CH Penndragon Masaniello, and the Border Collie, CH Borderfame Signature.

Her Best In Show was the young Cavalier. Just 20 months old, we know very little about this dog, except that he was bred by Shealagh Waters and is owned by Crizwood Kennels (Chris Wornall). Keep an eye out for this one.

  1. i thought the judge he got BIS under was Helen Lee James (thats what AKC site says). Nevertheless, an awesome accomplishment from the CLASSES!!

  2. Yes, a big accomplishment indeed. Some pretty big names in that final 7, so we certainly should be looking out for him. :)

  3. His breeder is Shealagh Waters in the UK; she's a very well-known and respected breeder-judge who's produced many, many lovely ENG CH Charlies and Cavaliers. I understand this win finished him--well done to all his people!
