By now you may have figured out that many of our top twenty dogs are not in Long Beach, but out and about trying to get the last few points to move up in the breed, group, or all breed standings. There were 2800 dogs entered in Saturday’s Richland County Kennel Club in Cleveland OH. However, it was not a top twenty dog that was James Covey’s BIS. It was the country’s number one Irish Setter, CH Vineyard’s Bad Boy, repeating his Thursday win.
Also on hand sharing the points were group winners the Doberman Pinscher, CH Allure Blazing Star Alisaton, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH J’Cober Kemosabe Vigilante Justice, the Italian Greyhound, CH Honore’s Lily-Belle, the Dalmatian, CH Brte D’s Sergeant Major, and a Shetland Sheepdog from the classes, Willwin Amaryllis.
Our Long Beach competitors will leave after tonight, but the Cleveland crowd has another day to gather those points.
