We and the AKC are moving a little slower today than usual, but we hope to get you all the weekend’s show results up before the afternoon is over.

CH Shomberg's One Hot Ticket Deppe-Haus

Up in Region One, the Northeast Region, there was one place to see an all breed dog show this weekend. Saturday the Monticello New York Kennel Club set up in Augusta NJ with judge Sam Houston McDonald in the final ring. His seven were the German Shorthaired Pointer, CH Shomberg's One Hot Ticket Deppe-Haus, the Whippet, CH Sporting Field's Bahama Sands, the Alaskan Malamute, CH Nanuke's Still The One, the Manchester Terrier, CH Neverland Justa Kerigold Gigilo, CD,RA,JE, the Toy Poodle, CH Smash JP Moon Walk, the Standard Poodle, CH Hillwood Dassin De-Lovely, and the Rough Collie, CH Kelso's Moon Dancin PT.

The first BIS of the cluster went to the GSP, Simmer, becoming only the second GSP to win a BIS this year. Congratulations to breeders J Logan, Dr M Fitzgerald & Sharon & Steve Datilio & P Crowley, owners James R Deppen & Mimi Winkler & Sharon Dattilio, and handler Pam Bober.

CH Nanuke's Still The One

On Saturday, it was Ms Denny Mounce’s turn for the Palisades Kennel Club. She saw Simmer and the same Whippet, Malamute, Toy and Standard Poodles, with the Border Terrier, CH Meadowlake Overnight Celebrity, and the Bearded Collie, CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins. Her BIS was the nation’s number two Malamute, Kimmy. We have this down as Kimmy’s sixth BIS this year.

CH Hillwood Dassin De-Lovely

Sunday’s show was hosted by the Ramapo Kennel Club who asked Thomas Feneis to s decide BIS. He chose from the previously mentioned GSP, Standard Poodle, and Beardie, the Afghan Hound, Al Nacira Bint Roula Von Haussman, the Boxer, CH Tamaron's Leonidas, the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Blythewood Full Metal Jacket, and the Toy Fox Terrier, CH Valcopy Hannah Montana. It was the country’s number one Non-Sporting Dog, the Standard Poodle, Sissy, taking home another BIS, her 15th this year.
