SCARLETT LETTER DAY

The long weekend came to an end today in Raleigh NC with the hometown Raleigh Kennel Club hosting and Harry Smith taking charge of the final ring.

CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream

Fanciers saw mostly familiar faces, but there were a couple of dogs making their first final appearance of the week. The lucky seven were the German Shorthaired Pointer, CH Fieldfines Back In Action JH, the Afghan Hound, CH Genesis Silverado, the Boxer, CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Scottish Terrier, CH Roundtown Mercedes Of Maryscot, the Smooth Coat Chhuahua, CH Arywen Star Kissed Delight, the Lhasa Apso, CH My Thai Se Halleluiah Chorus, and the Puli, CH Cordmaker Field Of Dreams.

Closing out the five day stand was the Boxer, Scarlett. The nation’s number two Working Dog sometimes gets overlooked, but she and handler Diego Garcia have been out there every weekend, working hard to hold on to a top ten all breed ranking and collecting 15 BIS including this one. Scarlett was bred by Tina Porter & Lee Stanton, and is owned by Debbie McCarroll, Mark Fagan, Mrs J Billhardt, & S Tenenbaum. We congratulate them and Diego on their special win and thank them all for bringing us this terrific girl. Did we mention she is only 27 months old?
