RAINY RESULTS

We heard from an exhibitor who was at yesterday’s Hunterdon Hills Kennel Club show in Ringoes NJ. She tells us that the weather was so nasty that there was not a dry catalog to be had anywhere. So these results are from memory.

CH Riverside Wicked Wonderful

Carl Gomes’ final included the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, the Whippet, CH Sportingfield's Glory Bound, the Bernese Mountain Dog CH Trevis Lone Star, the American Staffordshire Terrier, CH Gekko’s Fly Me To The Moon, the Long Coat Chihuahua, a Tibetan Terrier to be named later, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Riverside Wicked Wonderful.

CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm

His BIS was the Corgi, Deidre. That’s number three for Deidre this year and Breeder/owner/handler Deb Shindle. Now can somebody tell us who the Tibetan Terrier was?

  1. The whippet was Ch. Sportingfield's Glory Bound this years Best of Breed at Westminster.

  2. Uuh....The rain in Jersey was horrible that day(Like it has been for the whole season=p).
That leads me to my next question, an outdoor show+ severe weather= show grinds to a halt?

  3. Most of our shows here in the Mid South are indoors (that mad dogs and Englishmen thing)and it's been years since I showed in California (where, as we know, it never rains)or on the east coast, but in 40 years of showing, I can never remember an outdoor show called because of rain. Cancelled prior to the day because of hurricanes or floods, but never stopped in the middle of judging. I'm sure that's it's happened, but we doggy folk are a hardy lot.
