We have the results from today’s James River Kennel Club show in Salem VA. The final seven was a dog fancier’s dream.

CH Allure Blazing Star Alisaton

Patricia Trotter’s final included the top three dogs in the US, the Scottish Terrier, CH Mercedes Roundtown Of Maryscot, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Allure Blazing Star Alisaton, & the Puli, CH Cordmaker Field Of Dreams. The rest of the field are all highly ranked as well, the Toy Poodle, CH Smash Jp Moon Walk, the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Ripsnorter’s Mt View Lookout, the Irish Wolhound, CH Dun Myrica Speaker Of Eagle, and the Tibetan Spaniel, CH Lorac’s Yeshe Wongchhu.

The first BIS of the cluster went to the nation’s number two dog, the Dobie, CJ. Oh, this is going to be a fun five days.

  1. why would you post such an awful picture? you make it appear as if CJ is trying to bite someone, when it couldn't be further from the truth.

  2. Actually, it was a picture of a judge counting teeth, required in the Doberman standard. I thought it was an interesting departure from the same old photo.

  3. That would be a great picture! Did you take it down?

  4. where is the picture? censorship?

  5. that's fine, but the picture is taken out of context and you can see how it appears to someone who wasn't there when the photo was taken. The new photo looks much nicer.
