HATTIESBBURG RESULTS

It’s Monday and we have show results, lots of show results. We had several clusters that began on Thursday and we were lucky enough to be able to give you results on most. However, the folks deep down in the state of Mississippi had not checked in until this morning.

CH Genesis Silverado

The action kicked off on Thursday in Hattiesburg with Dr Lee Reasin on deck for the Greater Hattiesburg Kennel Club. The initial line up included the English Cocker Spaniel, CH Chitoba Purplehart Imagine That, the Afghan Hound, CH Genesis Silverado, the Boxer, CH Rummer Runs Brigadier, the West Highland White Terrier, CH Abroaths Rosewood Rise N Shine, the Pekingese, CH Franshaw Hear Me Roar, the Chow Chow, CH Kelins There Can Be Only One, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Woodsides Pacino.

The first BIS of the cluster went to the US’ number one Afghan, Dylan. This is Dylan’s second BIS win this year. Congratulations to breeders Lou Guerrero, Hank Nave, & L Schanzle, owner John Shaw, and handler Marcelo Veras.

CH Franshaw Hear Me Roar

Friday, the host was the Meri-Miss Kennel Club, William Bailey was the judge and the .final seven were Friday’s Afghan, Peke, and German Shepherd, the Golden Retriever, Owlings Designed By Signature, the Black Russian Terrier, Ebonies Pride Kalista Ares, the Skye Terrier, CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, and the Bichon Frise, CH Bodacious In Enemy Territory.

BIS went to the latest Peke collaboration between breeder/owner John Shaw and handler Hiram Stewart. The two year old is currently winning the race for number one in her breed. BIS number five will help.

Saturday, it was the Greater Hattiesburg KC’s turn again. This time they asked James White to choose from Friday’s Cocker, the Afghan, Friday’s Skye, Saturday’s Bichon, and the GSD. Joining themn were the Great Dane, CH Raintree Erinwood Dixie Magic Dragon, and the Pug, CH O-Day Mystical Klondike. The Skye picked up his second BIS this year. He is the only one of his breed to win a BIS this year.

CH Woodside Pacino

They closed it out Sunday with the Meri-Miss Kennel Club and Joan Zielinski choosing top dog. Making it to the final final seven were the English Cocker, the Afghan, the Skye, the Peke, the GSD and the Rottweiler, CH Creeksides Fairest Babe V Ferro, and the Standard Poodle, CH Chrystals Totally Chromed Out.

The Skye, CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, left Hattiesburg with a matched set of BIS. Congratulations to breeders/owners Eugene Z Zaphiris & Matthew H Stander and handler Lawrence W Cornelius.
