OK, we are Terrier owners, but is not true that we have any cosmic influence on the show circuit. However, we are kind of giddy about the results this weekend. We have just heard that the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH J’Cobe Kemosabe Vigilante Justice, has taken the BIS, courtesy of judge Wendy Willhauck, at the Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County in Birch Run MI.

Dodger’s fellow finalists were the Irish Setter, CH Jewelset Second Attraction, the Otterhound, Scentasia’s The Price Is Right, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Lovahagen’s Emo, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua, CH Dartan On The Rocks, the Lhasa Apso, CH Northwind Nothing But Trouble, and the Bouvier Des Flandres Quiche’s Demetrius.

While the number one Terrier, the number one dog all breeds, is way ahead of everyone, the number two Terrier spot is shaping up to be a slugfest. Today’s BIS is Dodger’s fifth BIS this year.
