ANOTHER THREE-PEAT

For those of you who are up late, we now have the results in from Merced CA, or Sadie’s Place as it has become known this weekend, where the Scottish Terrier, CH Roundtown Merced At Maryscot, has done a three-peat, winning her third BIS of the weekend.

Best In Show judge Donald Booxbaum chose Sadie out of seven stellar dogs including the Clumber Spaniel, CH Monarch American Pie, the Basset Hound, CH Blossomhill’s Mamma Mia, the Alaskan Malamute, CH Catanya;s Latin Lover, the Toy Manchester Terrier, Blossom’s Rodeo Queen, the Lhasa Apso, CH Hylan Shotru Riverview Our Dream, and the Bouvier Des Flandres, CH Voodoo Slam Dunk Susant’s.

It’s hard to get noticed when you are in the ring with a dog on a hot streak like Sadie, but the Toy Manchester had everybody scrambling for their catalog to verify that she had come out of the six to nine month puppy class to make it to the final seven. Now that’s the way to win a five point major! Congratulations to breeder/owner Blossom Scott-Heim.
