We've just had a reader point out a misleading post we made on 1 December regarding the Scottish Terrier, CH Roundtown Mercedes Of Maryscot. In a play on words concerning the warm weather, we said that Sadie got the "cold shoulder", failing to place in the Terrier Group at the Imperial Valley Kennel Club show in Yuma AZ on 30 November.
While it is true that Sadie did fail to get a group placement, it wasn't because Judge Judith Franklin passed her over. For reasons unknown to us, Sadie skipped the group after winning the breed that day. As Scottie owners we are huge fans of Sadie and would not want to leave the impression with our readers that we were selling her short. Our thanks to the anonymous reader that brought this to our attention.
