AND NOW THIS FROM CLEVELAND

While we are waiting for the group judging to finish at the Eukanuba National Championship, we have this from Cleveland OH. The Harrier, CH Downhome Family Tradition, returned to the show ring today, and along with yesterday’s BIS winner, the Pekingese, CH Pequest Match Point, tried to impress Judge Frank Sabella. Also in the final seven were the Clumber Spaniel, CH Monarch Standndeliver Invergrdn, the Boxer, CH Dramatic Story of Sherry Shot JP, the Dandie Dinmont, CH King’s Mtn. Minnie Mouse, the Tibetan Terrier, Bluvali Brouhaha, and the Puli, CH Cordmaker Field of Dreams. And it was the Puli sweeping the field (I was going for a mop metaphor, but I just couldn’t get it in).

  1. I honestly think that it doesn't matter that the Giant is no longer at Eukanuba...I honestly think that the deerhound is so stunning it should win hands down!!!

  3. TJ, whoever you are, thank you for the comment on the Deerhound!

Billy, thanks for posting that photo of Bill and Ouija relaxing in the Group last night. Loved that photo; it's so typical of a Deerhound.

BTW, Ch. Jaraluv Ouija is the all-time record holder for all-breed Best in Shows for a Deerhound and is the first DH to win a Group at the Invitational (although her mom won a BBE Group and her dad placed in the Hound Group last year). We're thrilled!

Love your blog. Thanks for your support of Ouija and all the top 10's. It's been fun reading.
