The breed results have just been posted for the Giant Schnauzers at today's Eukanuba National Championship. Best of Breed went to CH Tanglewood‘s Bocephus, bred by Ed Fojtik & Paul Mihailides and owned by Robert Domas & B Deloian & J Erath & E Fojtk. No mention of CH Galilee's Pure Of Spirit. As we reported yesterday, Spirit and Taffee McFadden had flown back to Bethlehem PA and picked up a BIS.
Was Spirit's absence intended or was there a problem getting back in time for today's judging? We don't know, but we, like dog fanciers everywhere, are disappointed that the world will not see the Pointer, CH Cookieland Seasyde Hollyberry, and Spirit go head to head at tonight's final.
