MONDAY MORNING MOP UP



GCH CH Yakee’s Easily Persuaded

We begin our Monday Morning Mop Up where storm weary fanciers spent two days in Bloomsburg PA with the Back Mountain Kennel Club, away from the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. 

David Miller’s day one final included the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Amik-Creek Swiped By A Marshen, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Soonipi Friends In Low Places, the Saint Bernard, GCH CH Jamelles Aristocrat V Elba, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Class Act By Hallsblu, the Pekingese, GCH CH Yakee’s Easily Persuaded, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Hillwood Dassin Rock On By, and the Briard, GCH CH Stormfield Seiso At Charson.

His RBIS, was the black Standard Poodle Bitch and his BIS was the Peke, Rodger.  Rodger is the latest from Pekingese maven David Fitzpatrick.  Rodger and David have only been out infrequently this year, but have already collected two BIS and 16 Toy Groups.  We suspect we will see a lot of Rodger and David in 2013.

GCH CH Devinwood’s A Perfect Stranger

On Sunday,  only the standard Poodle would make it back to see Mary Lou Kniola.  Rounding out her seven were the Brittany, GCH CH Carrolltons Count Lancelot, the Norwegian Elkhound, CH Somerri Dunharrows Dynamo, the Boxer, GCH CH Jacquets Laredo El Encanto, the Airedale, GCH CH Joval Angels Whisper,  the Maltese, CH Ta-Jon's Pawsitively Pawparazzi, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Devinwood’s A Perfect Stranger.

Reserve went to the Airedale, Wispa, and Best In Show went to the Collie, Finn.  It’s the second in seven final appearances this year for Finn and handler Peter Denbow.  Congratulations to Peter and breeders/owners Jacqueline A Caruso & Ronald Caruso.

DAY FOUR IN KNOXVILLE TN



GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box

The American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, wrapped the four day stop in Knoxville TN with her third consecutive BIS.  The latest came at today’s Oak Ridge Kennel Club show.

Also looking for James Reynolds’s approval were the Parti-Color Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Conquests This Is It!, the Tibetan Mastiff, GCH CH Dreamcatcher Major Victory of Loki, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Anstamm Maryscot’s Lady Volunteer, the RBIS, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Gunther’s Gussied Up Edna, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Dalarno Nitesong at Morningstar.

The Number One Hound heads for Orlando with a head of steam and 29 big rosettes.

DAY THREE IN VIRGINIA BEACH



GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici

Kathleen Grosso had the day three final in Virginia Beach VA.  His seven BIS candidates at today’s Virginia Beach Kennel Club show were the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Stelor’s Royalty Remembered, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Lacey’s Hocus Pocus, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, the West Highland White Terrier, GCH CH MKC Bonaparte, the Pug, GCH CH Caper’s Sirius Endeavor, the Bulldog, GCH CH Itsa Brix, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder.

Her RBIS was the Westie, Party Boy, and her BIS was the Doberman, FiFi.  FiFi sits atop the Working Group as the Number Three Dog All Breeds with 41 BIS this year.

SOUTHERN OREGON KC DAY ONE



CH DV9K9'S Royal Star

While we wait for today’s results let’s tell you about yesterday’s Southern Oregon Kennel Club show in Central Point OR.   Honey Glendinning’s final seven were the Irish Setter, GCH CH Mi Jean's Reason To Believe SH NA NAJ, the 15” Beagle, CH Foxtail's Sweet Dream, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Charisma Maxim Von Diable, the Parson Russell Terrier, GCH CH Snow Winds Masked Bandit, the Papillon, GCH CH Titian's Risky Business, the Finnish Spitz, CH DV9K9'S Royal Star, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Mariel's Harvest Moon. 

Her top two were the Beagle, who got the Reserve, and the Spitz, Prince, who took home the Best In Show.  It’s the first BIS for Prince.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Michelle Leathers, co-breeder Nancy Lloyd, and Heidi Leathers.

The English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, continued his quest for the Number One Dog All Breeds title with a Best In Show at yesterday’s Tri-State Kennel Club show in Joplin MO. 

GCH CH D’s Remember When

Joining Peyton and handler Robin Novack in Dana Cline’s final were the Blood Hound, CH Houndwalker's Sebastian of the Groves, the Reserve winner, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D’s Remember When, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH High mountain Everso in Command, the Toy Manchester Terrier, Doubletree's Kick It Like Cricket, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Jade East Do You Know The Way To San Jose, and the Rough Collie, CH Arrowhils Swords Held High.

Peyton’s 52nd BIS of the year puts him within 1400 points of the Number One Dog.
