SAN GABRIEL VALLEY KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore

We wake this morning to a report that the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, was Johnny Shoemaker’s BIS at yesterday’s San Gabriel Valley Kennel Club show in City of Industry CA.  Ally was piloted to the win by handler Taffee McFadden, standing in for regular handler Tim Brazier.  Taffee is a long time friend of Tim, who is home recovering from by pass surgery.

Also on hand in the final ring were the Irish Setter, GCH CH Devlin's Jewel Of Meadow Run, the Black and Tan Coonhound, GCH CH Desert Bills Sing It To Me Baby, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Perrisblu Kennislaine Chelsey, the Havanese, GCH CH Bellatak McDreamy, and the Australian Cattle Dog, GCH CH Carben Copy's If The Shoe Fits.

That’s Ally’s 39th BIS of the year, good enough to hold on to her Number Four Dog All Breed ranking.  We wish Tim a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in the BIS ring soon.
