VANCOUVER KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Whistlestop’s Fire & Ice

Up in the Pacific Northwest the action was in Ridgefield WA where the Vancouver Kennel Club was set up for the weekend.  On Saturday the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Whistlestop’s Fire & Ice, Greyhound, GCH CH Helios Foxglove Atheart.  the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Karnovanda’s Tenzing, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Littlefield Dignpop Dashiell of Dungeness, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Starlight’s Sugar Daddy, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Highwood’s Big Shot, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CCH Snowdowne When in Rome, all lined up for George Vulkich’s approval.

The one he liked was the Irish Water Spaniel, Annah.   It was her first.  Just last weekend Annah’s litter sister, CH Whistlestop’s Riley on Fire, took her first BIS.  That means that the only  IWS to take a BIS this year are GCH CH Poole's Ide Got Water RN and his two daughters.  Talk about keeping it in the family!  Our congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Stacy J Duncan & breeder/owner Colleen McDaniel.

GCH CH Alpine’s Highwayman

On Sunday, Annah would be the only Saturday finalist to return for  Jeannine Dowell’s final.  Joining her were the Whippet, GCH CH Endeavor’s White Rose On Nysa Hill, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Mattiaci High Voltage at Glacier Creek, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine’s Highwayman, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Full of Malarkey Miles of Aisles, the Chow Chow, CH Moonshine’s Stolen Moments, and the Bouvier des Flandres, Rocheuses One With Ice.
