While the rest of the dog world is awaiting “official” numbers, we here at Dog Show Poop are going to go out on a limb and give you the first Top Ten Dogs All Breeds of 2011. On the left side bar you will find the Top Ten based on the traditional system of all dogs defeated. On the right side bar you will find the Dog Show Poop Top Ten based on our own system of BIS and Group Placements won weighted for size of show. We are also including the above chart so you know just how close the race is. Remember, our real time rankings are for entertainment purposes only and while they have been accurate within 0.5 percent of actuals over the last three seasons, they are estimates. The only thing we promise is they will be the first to hit the internet each week. Enjoy!

JACKSONVILLE DOG FANCIERS DAY TWO
CH Waybroke Broxden Turning Tanner
We have not fully recovered from the exciting race for the Number One Dog All Breeds of 2010. However, Amy Booth, the professional handler who won that race, has already copped her first BIS of the year. It came at today’s Jacksonville Dog Fanciers' Association day two show in Ormond Beach FL. Desmond Murphy chose Amy’s Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Waybroke Broxden Turning Tanner, as his Best In Show out of a final that included the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Gemini Fallchase The Butler Did It, the American Foxhound, Kelly Mt American Idol, a Rottweiler from the Open Bitch class, Kostlich Zouga Von Ursa, the Pug, GCH CH Caper's Sirius Endeavor, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Raintree Mister Baggins.
It’s the first BIS for two year old Tanner. We would be surprised if we don’t see Tanner in the final ring again soon. Congratulations to Amy, who is Tanner’s breeder/owner/handler, co-breeders H Thomas, M Weeks, & S Turner, and co-owners Victor Malzoni Jr & Jerson Valle.

OK, we know that many of you are still dating your checks 2010, but wake up and pay attention because our dog show year is underway with a vengeance. First, let’s talk about Florida. However, the opening salvo will be on Wednesday when the Northern Neck Kennel Club Of Virginia opens a five day stay in Fredericksburg VA. They will be joined by the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club and the Chesapeake Kennel Club Of Maryland to complete the stay. New Englanders will have to wait until Friday for their four day weekend in Fitchburg MA with the Greater Lowell & Merrimack Valley Kennel Clubs, while New Yorkers head upstate on Friday for to Hamburg for three days with the Kennel Club Of Buffalo and the Ashtabula Kennel Club.
The rest of our offerings are spread across the US, consisting of weekends in Oshkosh WI with the Winnegamie Dog Club and Oshkosh Kennel Club, in Starkville MS with the Golden Triangle Kennel Club Of Mississippi, in Sinton TX with the Corpus Christi Kennel, or three days in Puyallup WA wit the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers, the Tacoma Kennel Club, & the Sammamish Kennel Club, starting Saturday.

We had expected that the long weekend in the California desert would give us a clear indication which dogs might be the leaders for the Number One Dog of 2011. While we have several names on our list, we are pleased to say that once again we have a great crop of dogs to entertain us this year. Jon Cole’s final at today’s Palm Springs Kennel Club show in Indio CA featured the English Setter, GCH CH Oakley's B'Dazzled, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Cammcastle’s Kore Elements, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine’s Highwayman, the Silky Terrier, GCH CH Snow Flen’s Tesorio Cover Story, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgil, CH Mariel's Harvest Moon.
BIS was the big Poodle, Ally. Ally burst on the scene in April of 2010 in spectacular fashion, winning the Poodle Club of America’s National Specialty from the classes. She went on to win 18 all breed BIS and 39 Non-Sporting Groups in limited showing, rarely getting far from her Pacific Northwest home. We hope that she gets out and about this season so more fanciers can see this beautiful girl. Congratulations to breeders L'Dyne Wicker Brennan &Debra Ferguson Jones, owners Toni & Martin Sosnoff, and handler Tim Brazier.

It was déjà vu all over again in Tallmadge OH where the Rubber City Kennel Club held it’s day two show, and Day One BIS winner, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Field’s Bahama Sands, picked up the BACK2BACK BIS. Joining Tawny in Dana Cline’s final were the English Setter, GCH CH Kaska’s Capture The Moment, the Siberian, GCH CH Kontoki’s A Bend In The Road, the American Staffordshire Terrier, CH Castle Rock's SBigStaff Mad About You , the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Moon Walk, the Bulldog, GCH CH Kepley‘s Showbiz Razzle Dazzle, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Segni At Coventry. That makes Tawny’s weekend haul over 2000 points, sure to make her an early contender for our Top Ten Dogs All Breeds.
JACKSONVILLE DOG FANCIERS
GCH CH Ivoss Rotly Crew V Caloosa Ranch CD
With our temperatures plummeting toward the teens, we have little sympathy for fanciers in Ormond Beach FL complaining of the 50-ish temperatures at today’s Jacksonville Dog Fanciers' Association show. Judge Pete Dawkins gathered up the Weimaraner, GCH CH Silhouette’s LifeInTheFastLane, the Smooth Dachshund, CH Brownwood’s D’Geno Rock SS, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Ivoss Rotly Crew V Caloosa Ranch CD, the Skye Terrier, CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, the Italian Greyhound, GCH CH Bo-Bett’s Open Button, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintreee Mister Baggins.
BIS was the Rott, Crew, his, first. Congratulations to breeder Diane Voss DVM, owners Deb Listander and Blase Pfefferkorn, and handler Jeff Brucker.
