NEBRASKA RESULTS

CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence

The Scottsbluff Kennel Club gave us two shows in Mitchell NE this weekend. We did tell you that the Pug, CH Kenshei And That’s The Way It Is, won his first BIS on Saturday. Also on hand for the win were the Weimaraner, CH Harline Win;Weim It’s My 2nd Martini, the Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen, CH Dehra Amazona Bvkgari, the Kuvasz, CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the Border Terrier, CH Devon Lady Semper Fi , the Schipperke, CH Dante Fire When Ready HOF, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Enchanted’s American Thunder.

Sunday, it was Ken Buxtion’s turn to choose the top dog. He saw all the same finalists with the exception of Welsh Springer Spaniel, CH Clussexx Royart’s Payola. He chose our DOG2WATCH, the Kuvasz, Tanner. It was the first BIS this year for the breed. Tanner was bred by Bea Page, Clay Page, Lynn S Brady & Constance Townsend and is owned by Lynn, Constance, & Claudia Muir. Congratulations to them all.

SUNDAY IN GEORGIA

CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman

There were two shows this weekend in Newnan GA and we told you all about Saturday’s results, but we did not tell you that the Skye Terrier, CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman and handler Larry Cornelius took home their sixth top prize this year at Sunday's Douglasville Kennel Club Of Georgia show. Judge Peggy Hauck could have chosen the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Afghan Hound, CH Genesis Silverado, the Boxer, CH Winfall I Dream Of Style, the Pekingese, CH Franshaw Hear Me Roar, the Standard Poodle, CH Dawin Spitfire, or the German Shepherd Dog, Fox's Hollywood, but she didn’t. Buddy is now the country’s number three Terrier.

SATURDAY FINALISTS IN SYRACUSE

We did tell you that the Pekingese, CH PalaceGarden Malachy, won back2back BIS Friday & Saturday in Syracuse NY. We now can tell you that Malachy was accompanied on Saturday by the Irish Setter, CH Jewelset's Up Up N Away, the Scottish Deerhound, CH Foxcliffe Hickory Wind, the Boxer, CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Wire Fox Terrier, Sanherpinc La Maria, the Bulldog, CH Kepley's Showbiz Razzle Dazzle, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Quiche's Glamour Girl. CH Sabo’s Majestic Provocation

It’s Monday morning and we have a lot of catching up to do after the holiday weekend. Let’ start in St Petersburg FL where the St. Petersburg Dog Fanciers Association staged a pair of shows. We gave you Saturday’s results. Here’s Sunday’s. Jane Kay had the choice of the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Star K’s Mile Hi Valentine, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH TuckerRidge Dugga Boy Simba Ridge , the Boxer, CH Sabo’s Majestic Provocation, the Parson Russsell Terrier, CH Bayshore N’RV Queen Victoria, the Papillkion, CH Forevr Errol Flynn , the Standard Poodle, CH Chrystal's Totally Chromed Out , and Saturday’s BIS winner, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Riverside In The Dark Zone.

Her Best was local favorite, the Boxer, Adam. We have this as the his first BIS this year. Congratulations to breeder/owner Sandra Williams. . Have you noticed how many nice Boxers we have out this year?

SUNDAY IN SYRACUSE

CH Kepley's Showbiz Razzle Dazzle

Keke Kahn wrapped up the four day stay in Syracuse, choosing the BIS at the Central New York Kennel Club show. Her options were the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, the Scottish Deerhound, CH Foxcliffe Hickory Wind, the Boxer, CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Smooth Fox Terrier, the country’s number one dog all breeds, CH J’Cobe Kemosabe Vigilante Justice, the Pekingese, CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Bulldog, CH Kepley's Showbiz Razzle Dazzle, and the Shetland Sheepdog, Laureate Jivara. She went with the Bulldog, Uli. It’s number six for Uli and handler Phoebe Booth in 2010, good enough to make Uli the number two Non-Sporting Dog in America. Brava!

FRED & GINGER IN THE CORNFIELDS

It was like finding Fred & Ginger in the cornfields. One doesn’t think of De Witt IA as the place you would run into the epitome of elegance, but that’s what they got at the Clinton Iowa Kennel Club day two show Sunday as the ever so smooth Marcelo Chagas and his stylish 15” Beagle bitch, CH Torquay Midnight Confession, picked up the BIS. Also on hand in Phyllis Wolfish’s ring were the Gordon Setter, CH Firethorn And Sandpiper Easy On The Eyes, the Boxer, CH Bravo N Sunset Stealing Time, the Norfolk Terrier, CH Maxwell’s Violet, the Blenheim & Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, CH Royalist Ready To Reign, the Tibetan Terrier, CH Ri-Lee's Stellar Performance, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder. It was a long overdue first BIS of 2010 for breeder/owner/handler Marcelo and Lola who have been collecting Group wins all year. Congratulations to all!

ALBANY OR SATURDAY

CH Brighton Lakeridge Summer In The Hamptons

Out in Abany OR it was Barbara Dempsey Alderman doing Best for the Chintimini Kennel Club. Her special seven were the Irish Water Spaniel, CH Poole's Ide Got Water RN, the Whippet, CH Starline’s Chanel, the Rottweiler, CH Camcastle's Kore Elements, the Lakeland Terrier, CH Char Dar's Merry Manhattan, the Affenpinscher, CH Tamarin Top Banana, the Standard Poodle, CH Brighton Lakeridge Summer In The Hamptons, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH CH Avalon Frontier Sleepnlady Webber. Best went to Tim Brazier and his white Poodle, Summer. It’s the first BIS this year for Tim and our DOG2WATCH, Summer. Summer was bred by L'Dyne Brennan & Debbie Ferguson-Jones and is owned by Debra & Toni & Martin Sosnoff. Congratulations to all.

BAKERSFIELD CA SATURDAY

Mrs Denys Janssen did Best In Show Saturday in Bakersfield CA for the for the Kern County Kennel Club. Her lkineup included the Irish Water Spaniel, CH Poole's Ide Bonnie Brook, the Wirehaired Dachshund, CH Kadell's Black Gold W, the Portuguese Water Dog, CH Aviator’s Luck Be A Lady, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Fortuna De Aiedkii's, the Chinese Crested, CH Crestline Butters Scotch, the French Bulldog, CH Bayhill Celebrate!, and the Bearded Collie, CH Brigadoondaybarbelieveitornot. Her Best was the Irish Water Spaniel, Bonnie. That’s number two for Bonnie and handler Jennifer Isley.

NEWNAN GA SATURDAY

CH Grandcru Clos Erasmus

Patricia Hastings had Day One BIS duty for the Newnan (GA) Kennel Club Saturday. She considered the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Ripsnorter’s Mt View Lookout, the Greyhound, CH CH Grandcru Clos Erasmus, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Alpenspirit Lion King, the Skye Terrier, CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, the Pekingese, CH Franshaw Hear Me Roar, the Dalmatian, CH Bret D Gabriel's Lost Art, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Mysharas Dream Girl. She chose the country’s number one Greyhound, Era. That’s number two this year for Era and handler Rindi Gaudet.

ST PETERSBURG SATURDAY

CH Riverside in The Dark Zone

Sari Tietjen called the BIS for the St Petersburg Dog Fanciers Association in Palmetto FL Saturday. Her choices were the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Bracon’s Leapin Lily Pads, the Whippet, CH Karasar's Parexcellence, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Sun Style's Sensation, the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, CH Sho-Well's Bree's Boy Toy, the Toy Manchester Terrier, CH Tropicfox Dreamgirl, the Standard Poodle, CH Chrystal's Totally Chromed Out, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Riverside in The Dark Zone.

Her Best was Jane Alston-Myers Corgi, Indi. We have this as Indi’s first BIS of the year. Congratulations to Jane, breeder/owner Deborah B Shindle.
