GCH CH Lockenhaus Rumor Has It v Kenlyn
Today’s Hatboro Dog Club show in Wrightstown PA was the opener of what promises to be the most competitive week of the season. Over 2100 dogs gathered to on a Wednesday to vie for a piece of the year’s biggest pie. Today’s all breed show was just a warm up for tomorrow’s celebration of the grand old days of dog shows, the Morris and Essex Kennel Club show.

Most of the Top Ten Dogs All Breeds are in the area for the once in every five years gathering. However only two of them made it to judge Kenneth Kauffman’s final, the Nation’s Number One Dog, the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Lockenhaus Rumor Has It v Kenlyn, and the Number Four Dog, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Field’s Shameless. Rounding out the seven were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Doc's Greyborn North Star of Acadia, the Akita, GCH CH CR-Wicca’s Trade Secret, the Welsh Terrier, GCH CH Shaireab’s Bayleigh Wolverine, the Italian Greyhound, GCH CH Marchwind Barbara Ann, and the French Bulldog, GCH CH Iacta Alea Est de la Bete.
Grabbing the top prize was the Number One Dog, the GSD, Rumor. Coming in second was the Frenchie, Rubi. Tomorrow’s homage to the sport’s golden era has drawn over 4,000 dogs and promises to showcase the sport’s most glamorous dogs handled by the sport’s most glamorous people. We will be here to tell you all about it.
