GCH CH Lacey’s Deck Plate
We will no longer report on every AKC all breed show, but
will try to focus our radar on something other than the same 25 dogs every
week. We will keep you up on the
sport’s Top ten All Breeds, but we want to also tell you about the breakout
performances, our DOGS2WATCH, and first time BIS winners. Let’s start with these dogs winning their
first BIS of the year.
CH Erin N JJs Royal Courtier
We told you that Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH
Lacey’s Deck Plate, took both top prizes at the Central Maine Kennel Club’s
and the Mid-Coast Kennel Club of Maine’s
double header last Thursday. Chief would
add a third BIS on Friday, taking the big rosette at the MCKCM’s PM show. Chief was the only dog to win three BIS this
past week.
GCH CH Encore's Mimosa
Also picking up his first BIS of the year was the Dalmatian,
CH Erin N JJs Royal Courtier, who was judge Sheila DiNardo’s BIS at the CMKC’s
Friday AM show. Beckett would follow up
Friday’s win with another top prize at the Altoona Area Kennel Association’s Saturday
show in Ebensburg PA. The Boxer, GCH CH
Encore's Mimosa was judge David Jay Hyman’s Best In Show at the AAKA’s Sunday
encore. Our congratulations to team Beckett, breeders Scott Mueller &
Sharon Lyons, owners K Blanchfield, O Firuski & B Lyons, and owner/handler
