THREE DAYS IN JEFFERSON WI

Jefferson WI was the site of the Badger Kennel Club’s and the Janesville-Beloit Kennel Club’s three shows May1st-3rd.  The BKC had the opening shot and BIS judge Evie Sullivan had a final seven of the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Telltale American Ride, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Fields Shameless, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Kamtera's Legato, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Taliesin Twice As Nice, the Papillon, GCH CH Wingsong Singular Sensation, the Tibetan Terrier, CH Ri Lee’s Diamond Hunter, and the Australian Shepherd, Integrity’s Honest Pleasure.

Finishing one/two were the Doberman, Legato, and the Whippet, Brazen.  It was the second this year for Legato and breeder/owner/handler Kathy Moats.

GCH CH Sporting Fields Shameless

The JBKC took over on Saturday choosing judge Houston Clark for the final ring.  The seven dogs he considered were the returning Springer & Whippet, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Tugar's Taking On Tyson, the above named Norwich, the Maltese, CH Martin’s Huggys Rocket Bear Puff, the Schipperke, GCH CH Dante Wildfire, and the Old English sheepdog, GCH CH Barkshire’s Uncle Sam.

BIS was the Whippet, Brazen, and RBIS was the Malamute, Tyson.  Brazen is the country’s Number One Hound with nine BIS and 36 Hound Groups.

GCH CH Tramore Notorious

The BKC’s Sunday encore saw judge James Frederiksen in the final ring with the Irish setter, GCH CH Tramore Notorious, the Saluki, GCH CH Baghdad A Missdemeanor, the Doberman, Legato, the now familiar Norwich, aforementioned Papillon, the Tibetan Terrier, CH Ti La Shu U Make Me Happy For Gemms, and the previously seen OES.

GCH CH Wingsong Singular Sensation

The Irish Setter, Torrey, walked away with the BIS and the Papillon, Uno, scampered away with the RBIS.  It was the first for Torrey this year.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Ginny Swanson ,owners Sue & Larry Hassler, and handler Douglas A Carlson.
