BACK TO WEST VIRGINIA

GCH CH Ironwood’s Paparrazi

Too often these past two years, we have penned too many posts from hospital waiting rooms. This week’s reports will be a little slower than usual as we split our time between keyboards and concerned family members.

GCH CH Lockenhaus Rumor Has It

When we last visited Morgantown WV we told you that the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Blindside, was judge Beth Speich’s BIS at Friday’s Mountaineer Kennel Club show. Judge Luis Sosa took over the final ring at Saturday’s South Hills Kennel Club show, choosing his top two from the aforementioned Springer, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Flessner’s International S’Cess, the Neapolitan Mastiff, GCH CH Ironwood’s Papparrazi, the Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Lamz Strike A Pose RN CAA CGC, the Pekingese, GCH CH Pequest General Tso, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Merry Go Round Coach Master, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Lockenhaus Rumor Has It.

He chose the Neapolitan, Papparrazi, as his Best and the GSD, Rumor, as his Reserve. It was the first BIS by a Neapolitan Mastiff this year. Papparrazi is one of only two Neapolitan Mastiffs to win an al breed BIS. Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler James Deppen, co-breeder Mimi Winkler, and owner Susan Vann-Spruill.

GCH CH Cerise Blindside

At Sunday’s Mountaineer Kennel Club closer judge Jon Cole would see the returning Springer, Peke, & GSD, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Thaon’s Sanjaya, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Winter Parks Look Sharp Live Smart, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Whiskybae Lochraven Lollypop, and the French Bulldog, GCH CH Iacta Alea Est De La Bete. He would name the Springer, Timmy, his BIS and the GSD Rumor, his RBIS.

The win brings Timmy’s 2015 record to five BIS and 16 Sporting Groups.

  1. Good thoughts for a speedy recovery being sent your way for your ailing family member. As we age, more and more medical issues seem to find their way to us. Most unwelcome say we!
