The Belle-City Kennel Club shows at Purina Farms in Gray Summit MO are always well attended with yesterday’s event drawing 1250 dogs. The seven that stayed to the end to see judge Brian Meyer were the English Setter, GCH CH SetR Ridge’s National Pride N Glory, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Dikerdachs Blake, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Phillmar Superman, the Welsh Terrier, GCH CH Abbeyrose Black Diamond, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Fist Face A Penny for Your Thought, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Sabe’s Simply Invincible, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Lockenhaus Rumor Has It v Kenlyn.

The two that picked up the top prizes were the Welsh Terrier, GiGi, and the Boston Terrier, Vinny. It was the first BIS of the year for GiGi, who finished 2014 with one BIS and 12 Terrier Groups. Congratulations to breeders/owners Judith Anspach, Mary Duafala & Pam Allen, and handler Leonardo Garcini.
