Our next stop is in Auburn IN where the Logansport Kennel Club hosted two shows this weekend. Saturday ended with judge Loraine Boutwell considering the English Setter, GCH CH Stargazer N Wingfield Wait Wait Don’t Tell, the Whippet, GCH CH Longlesson Caught In The Crossfire, the Boxer, GCH CH Happy Tails Kit Kat Saves The Day & Stealsaheart, the Dandie Dinmont Terrier, GCH CH King’s Mtn Angelina Ballerina, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Ouachitah One Life To Give, the Keeshond, GCH CH Dreamwood’s On the Rocks, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Stonepillar’s Steel Blue.

Judge Boutwell’s top two were the Setter, Teller, and the Dandie, Angie. It was the first BIS of the year for Teller, who finished 2014 as the Number Two Sporting Dog with 17 BIS and 74 Group Ones. Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Eileen Hackett, co-breeders Patricia Skol, Lois Biedron, & Kathy Hanlon, and owners Don & Pat Coller.

Teller, Angie, and the above named Keeshond would all return to the final ring on Sunday to plead their cases with judge David Daugherty. They were joined by the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH Hunters Ridge Sunrunner Of Rose CA, the Great Pyrenees, GCH CH Rivergroves Chateau De Castelnau, the Papillon, GCH CH Wingssong Singular Sensation, the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH XSells Kiss-N-Tell.
Angie, the Dandie, would claim the BIS and the Great Pyrenees, Castle.
It was the first of the year for Angie who was 2014’s Number One Dandie Dinmont Terrier and Number Terrier with six BIS and 36 Terrier Group Firsts last year. Congratulations to breeders Sandra Wolfskill, Donna Francis, Sandra Pretari, & Betty Anne Stenmark, owners Patrice Stephens MD & Donna Chambers-Rau, and handler Carlos J Puig.
